free payday loans
June 30th, 2008
Many people take out payday loans not truly realizing how much they are being charged in interest. They seem to think that just because they can get the money quickly and without a credit check that they are a good idea. Well, the problem is that many people once they get a payday loan, they can’t afford to get rid of it. They keep going in and returning the money and then re borrowing it only repaying the interest over and over again. Some people after a few months begin to have trouble paying it off at all, and they wind up going to another cash advance place to borrow more money and so on and so forth.
With no fax payday loans making it so easy to get cash quickly and easily, it is no wonder that more and more people are thinking of this as a feasible alternative to a financial crisis. Many companies offer you free payday loans just to get you off and running with a loan. Then after that they will charge you, some places as much as 384% interest. This is off the charts.
So then why do people take payday loans? They take them because they need the cash and quickly. They don’t have the option to take a bank loan, mostly because their credit rating is shot. Also, if you are in need of a short term loan, then why go through the hassle of applying to a bank for a loan, when your intent is to pay it back quickly.
Payday loans are quick and easy and do not require a credit check or a lot of paperwork. They don’t do a lot of digging so that you can maintain your privacy about going through and getting this type of loan. This is important to a lot of people because they really don’t want everyone they know to find out that they are having financial difficulties. Let’s face it this is a very personal matter, that many people don’t want to share with others. Some people even take payday loans without their spouse even knowing about it.
car insurance
June 23rd, 2008
I love to get a deal. One thing that I have realized about buying car insurance is that it is not difficult to get reliable car insurance, but it does take a little bit of time to find cheap car insurance that is also reliable. It can be done, however it does take a lot of work to find a company and compare coverages that are available to you. A friend once told me that no matter what your coverage choices you are insured for the highest coverage on all your cars. For instance, let’s say that you have really good coverage on one of your vehicles, then on the other vehicles you can carry less insurance and still be covered by the better insurance coverage. I don’t necessarily believe this but the person that I heard it from was really reliable, and they told me that they read an article about it and this is the way it works.
All I know is that if you shop around you can find some really good deals, and with the availability of getting quotes online and finding new insurance companies online, this task is much easier than it used to be. Keeping your rates down, does require maintaining a good driving record, but I have found in looking that there have been times where switching insurance companies has cut my insurance premiums in half and this is an incredible savings.
Other tips about keeping the cost of your car insurance low is keep a good credit score, keep getting more educated, and check out your policies often and be sure to update changes frequently. Sometimes, just lack of paying attention to your policies, can cost you a lot of extra dough and this is just silly. For instance, as your education level increases your insurance costs go down considerably, so if you recently started attending college again, then call and let your insurance company know. Or if you started working from home or recently paid a loan, these are all changes that you should notify your car insurance company about. They are things that can significantly effect your rates.
In short, be sure to keep your policy information current and inform your insurance company of any changes in your life. Also, be sure to keep checking out other companies and see what they offer, and if you don’t wish to change companies, then contact your current company and see if they will match rates for you. Keep working to save that buck!
promotional pens
June 23rd, 2008
When school’s out for the summer and you have no need to work since your parents are paying for school, what do you do? I had to ask myself that question a few weeks before finals hit us and left everyone bobbling back and forth the sidewalks. As we all tried not to fall in to street before the ten am bus came by, I was busy working on a business plan for the summer. I knew that I would be set on money and that it really didn’t matter what I did all summer long so I thought I would try to challenge myself. This is a bit uncharacteristic of me because I am usually the type of person who spends their summer breaks watching MTV and hanging out at the pool. This year though I think I was inspired by how much work I had done throughout the year to get ahead in my degree. I want to finish in three years so I have to do a bunch more work than everyone else around me and that left me feeling busy but confident when the time came to take action.
I sat down and realized that I could start a company that would rival any of the student painting companies around town. The thing I had in hand was that I was privately funded and didn’t need a real start up. I had enough money to hire three guys to go out and do the work for me. I now run the business from home and just work the books and bills. Right now I am looking online for deals on promotional pens and promotional umbrellas to give to all of our clients. Now that we have been doing so well I am also thinking about hiring another person and expanding our business to gutter cleaning. If we do make this expansion I will also go online and order some promotional umbrellas.
For someone like me this is a bit of an unusual summer since I am typically unmotivated and under worked. I think college has inspired me to be everything I can imagine. This summer is teaching me that all dreams need is courage for them to become reality.
party supplies
June 17th, 2008
My son wrote a really cool story for school and this is what he wrote:
Today I am going to my friends skating party and afterward there is going to be a sleepover. When I got to the party they had party supplies everywhere. So after skating with my friends the party was over and they were handing out party favors. When I got to the sleepover I was kind of nervous about staying the night but after I settled in I was hanging out with everyone. They even handed out glow sticks. Most of the guys took two and made cool glow necklaces. When it was bed time I got scared but knowing that all of my friends were all there with me made me feel better. So I fell asleep. The next morning I had to leave and go home. So my mom picked me up and we headed home. When I got home my dad was sitting down on the couch drinking beer. The next day I begged my mom to go and get me some glow sticks but she told me to watch some TV. So I watched Elmo all day long. The next day at school my friend was bragging about how he had a cat. I had always wanted a cat and was mad because my mom never got me one. So when I got home I asked my mom for a cat. Don’t you already have a goldfish she responded? Yes but……no buts go to your room she yelled. I hate my parents I thought to myself. So I planned to run away. So I packed my book bag with clothes and food and took off running down the street. I did not stop running until I was sure that they could not find me but that night as I lay in the grass I got scared and wondered if my parents even knew that I was gone but I still missed them but did they miss me? I wondered. After falling asleep I dreamed about my parents crying and wondering where I was. So the next morning I decided to go home but I could not remember which way was home. So I laid in the grass crying until a guy in a blue suit walked up to me and asked me which road I lived on and I told him Springdale road and he took me right to my house. Once I pulled up my parents came running out crying and asking me if I was ok. I told them that I was fine and my mom said. I think its time to get a cat. So now I go to school everyday to brag about what great parents I have.
By the way this story is completely fictional. Pretty impressive, I think considering he is only 12.
Revolution 3D
June 17th, 2008
Tea to Go-It’s tea. It’s an energy drink. It’s both and so much more.
Revolution 3D is the latest offering from Revolution Tea, and the tea-to-go is making its way onto store shelves around the country as we speak. With a blend of truly natural ingredients, delicious fruit flavors, vitamins and all the health benefits of white tea, Revolution 3D is more than a new tea drink, it’s a completely new standard. Oh, and it tastes good, too.
The Three Ds
Revolution 3D isn’t just a clever name. The Ds are the dimensions of the drink, although when it’s all said and done, it seems there might be more than three.
The three big Ds are:
What makes Revolution 3D different from other tea and energy drinks is how similar and yet how different it is from each.
Based on white tea with its many health benefits including antioxidants, Revolution 3D could be a tea drink. Throw it on the shelf alongside bottled tea and it would fit in well enough - except that it’s not in a bottle. The tea-to-go is packaged in a sleek can and sold in four packs.
This packaging, plus the energy and vitamin benefits make it much more akin to energy drinks. The primary difference being most energy drinks are anything but natural and health benefits are slim to none.
It’s simple really. Revolution 3D defies traditional categories. Therefore it deserves a category of its own - excellence.
security scan
June 17th, 2008
This summer has not started off on a good foot so far. I was planning on sticking around here so that I could make a little extra money before the fall and also to keep my job intact. Unfortunately things never work out the exact way that we plan them to and this situation has been no different.
Last week I got an e-mail from my father which was just an update about what he and mom are doing right now back home. I read the e-mail and then went about my day. At some point during the day I got a phone call from my dad telling me that he had gotten a virus on his computer and because of it his financial information had been breached. As of this post he has canceled all his credit cards gotten new id’s and has even been having his social security number’s use tracked on the net. IF this had been the end of the story I would have been just fine with the whole thing, even with a slight bit of sadness of my father’s inconvenience.
The next day I got a call from my credit card company asking me about some charges I made the day before. I had no idea what any of them were but they were all very large buys. The asked if I had been doing anything that may have caused my information to be lost and at that moment it all clicked. I have since taken my computer to the campus IT guys who did a full security scan. They proved my hypothesis that the e-mail I got had an injection code build right in to it. They also did a bunch of web application scanning to see where the problem was and they fixed it with another program. Now they have installed a vulnerability scanner in to my computer which checks for these kinds of leaks every day so I can catch a problem before it happens.
What a way to start your summer. I mean finding out that my father has had his identity stolen and the realizing that my had been two as a result of our contact. I may want to consider not talking to them again, just kidding.
home loans
June 17th, 2008
As a college student I don’t really have to worry about home loans, yet. Every month I, and by I, I mean my dad, pay my rent to my landlord and then forget about it until the first of the next month. It’s not hard at all. I didn’t have to do much research; I just found an apartment and wrote a check for the first and last month’s rent. I doubt it will always be that easy though. I don’t know anything about home loans, but I’m assuming that when I get out of this bubble I’m living in at college, I will have to research the best home loan for me and make a decision. (A big decision). It seems to me that college should have some sort of life class. Just a whole course on teaching you about life. Like how to change your tire if you have a flat, or how to change the toilet paper roll (which is surprisingly harder than I thought). A class that could teach you how to do everything you would need when you “grow up”.
I don’t know much about the subject, so I figured I would look into it a little since eventually I will be doing this for real. I found out that there a LOT of different kinds of home loans. All seem more confusing to me than the next. When I looked up “home loans” I found a list of eight different types. When reading them it was hard to see the differences in one from another. How are you supposed to know what kind of loan is right for you? The adjustable rate mortgage seems to me to be almost the same as the hybrid loan and the conventional mortgage. Why didn’t they just make up one kind of home loan or mortgage and just make it over different periods of time. I don’t understand the interest rates and the amount of times it can change during the “term”. (Whatever the term is).
And then besides all of the different kinds of home loans that you can get, there are a lot of things you need to get it. In a lot of cases you will need to have your last two paycheck stubs and your W-2 tax forms. The bank will also need to know about your credit history, your past debts, your residential information and a bunch of other random things. I guess this seems fair, since they are loaning you thousands of dollars and this is probably the biggest investment in your life, but it seems like a lot of work. I’m glad that I will not have to worry about any of this yet, and maybe by the time that I do, there will be a college course to help me.
Boston Red Sox tickets
June 17th, 2008
A friend of mine purchases things on Ebay all the time. One day he was shopping on Ebay for sports memorabilia and found a great deal on some seats to a ball game, so he thought he would take me to the game since he knows I love baseball and so when he gets the Boston Red Sox tickets in the mail he calls me to let me know that it is a go, and we plan our day to hit the game and then go out to a local place after. He actually got 4 Boston Redsox tickets and 4 Chicago Cubs tickets in a lot on Ebay and he couldn’t have been more stoked about the whole thing.
Well, the game was on a Wednesday night, and after looking the tickets up online Jason found out that they were some really good seats so we couldn’t wait. We go there early, had the usher show us to our seats and we were ready to go. So there we are the game starts and we are just having a blast, when about the second inning a family comes down and says that we are sitting in their seats. We assure them that there must be some mistake, but in looking at the tickets, we begin to realize that our seats and their seats are the same seats. They call down an usher who takes a look at the tickets and takes them to I guess whoever is in charge, and a group of ushers comes down to tell us that our tickets are a forgery. Well, they show us the tickets and we can see what they are talking about and we apologized saying that we bought the tickets online and that we had no idea that there was anything wrong with the tickets. We then were escorted from the building, how completely humiliating. Now the whole ride home, Jason is shaking his head in disbelief. The whole time he has been shopping on Ebay, he has never run into this sort of scam before. When we got back to his place, he contacted the seller to no avail. He has since contacted his credit card company to get them to fight the seller.
Jason did get his money back on both sets of tickets, so we just used the Chicago Cub tickets to hang on the wall for decoration, after all, who wants to go to jail for forged tickets. We will just call this a lesson learned.
corporate gift baskets
June 15th, 2008
Happy birthday to me!! I’m not going to disclose my age because a woman doesn’t tell how old she is after she turns 18. It’s bad luck. Today was cool because I normally miss out on having celebrations for my birthday, especially being in college because the school year ends in May so by the time my birthday rolls around everybody has gone home for the year and they’re all spread around the city. But this year was different. Since I started working at this corporation last summer, I’ve been waiting for my chance to celebrate my birthday at work. And what a celebration it was! We all ate lunch as a team (even the managers) and then we had cupcakes and ice cream and they gave me a huge gift basket! It was one of those really pretty corporate gift baskets, with all kinds of fancy candies and chocolates inside. I’ve never gotten anything so beautiful! I opened it right there at my desk and gave some of the candies out, of course. I wouldn’t have been able to eat all of that sugar in my wildest dreams even if I wanted to. I also got a few gift cards, so that should be helpful when I start shopping for stuff for my apartment next year. But I must say, that gift basket was the best surprise of all.
My friends had gotten gift baskets for their birthdays, even from me. I had considered buying myself one once but decided that would be just a little too lame for my liking. I had fallen in love with how easy it is to find a nice priced gift basket with just the right items inside of a decent price. My friends had even come to know me as “the gift basket lady” because they knew they were going to get some new type of gift basket for their birthday/Christmas/etc. I even started concocting my own gift basket creations. I’m thinking maybe I should start up my own gift basket making business and call it something like My Baskets or What’s In Your Basket? Maybe I can even come up with a catchy one-liner like “Baskets: Gifts of Today for the Friendships of Tomorrow”. I’ll specialize in special order and corporate gift baskets just like the one I received today. No gift basket creation will be the same as the next!
Of course, I hear it takes some time and knowhow to get a company like that off the ground, neither of which do I possess at this point in time. But one day, my name will be there among the most prominent gift basket sites. Just wait and see.
smartlipo
June 14th, 2008
Generally liposuction is a special procedure for body correction by destroying the fat under the skin. Every person has specific “trouble” zones which accumulate fat at most. For example male body accumulates fat near the abdominals and on the sides of the body. Female try to counteract the size of their hips which is the primary place for fat for women. People mistakenly assume sometimes that the diets and physical activities will burn fat as well as liposuction. This idea is not absolutely correct. Liposuction is not going to burn fat all over the body. This procedure is being established specifically for body correction but not for loosing the weight. This procedure is relatively simple. First, the surgeon makes a half inch cut on the patient’s skin near the desired place. Second, he inserts a special tube called liposuction into the cut until it reaches the fat level. Then a doctor flows a liquid into the liposuction which makes the fat liquid and it can be removed easily. After that procedure the fat has to be sucked from the place. This simple procedure helps people to look and feel more comfortable. Male persons perform liposuction as well as female, and generally the procedure can be done for people of different age groups. Obviously, in the United States, as well as in the rest of the world, there is a huge drive to look good, so liposuction, has smartlipo had huge popularity, despite the high Smart lipo cost. Smart lipo is favorite because it is a more “high-tech” procedure, which means that it might attract more people just because of that. A lot of stars can actually afford liposuction, and they need it, since they are constantly of display, despite the high Smartlipo cost the rest of people, for whom it is still pricey to have the procedure done, exercising and maintaining good diet is difficult, since it actually requires some work on behalf of the client or patient, so a lot of people resort to liposuction or Smart lipo. Also, some non-star people might be motivated to do the procedure even more since their favorite stars do it. The bottom line is - if you see a person on the street with ideal body, that does not necessarily mean that that person took a lot of effort to exercise or eat right. All that could be is that the person went through liposuction, and now looks great!
