Siegel (ECE/CMRR) Elected to NAE

Paul H. Siegel, ECE Professor and Director of the Center for Magnetic Recording Research, was one of 65 engineers (8 from the UC’s) elected to the National Academy of Engineering this week, for “the invention and development of advanced coding techniques for digital recording systems.”
