SciFinder Scholar Update

1. As of Jan 2, the following versions of SciFinder were discontinued. If you were using these, please upgrade to SciFinder 2007.

• SciFinder Scholar 2004.2 (MAC OS 9 and Windows)
• SciFinder Scholar MAC OS X 1.0

CAS also no longer supports Macintosh OS 9 as of January 2, 2008.

2. A problem with SFS 2007 has surfaced for Mac OS X Leopard (10.5) users.

The only new Macintosh issue stems from changes that Apple makes with OS 10.5 — SciFinder 2007 will run under that OS, if one does a Get Info on the SciFinder Scholar 2007 for Mac OS X application package and checks the Run with Rosetta box. Please see:
