MORE THAN JUST E-BOOKS
Users can use keyword and/or data searches. The new chemical structure searching feature even allows users to even draw the chemical compound before searching. Knovel has developed a sophisticated search engine that brings a researcher immediately to what they need to see - using text, data, text and data, or data ranges, with all results normalized and ranked and everything oriented to keep the researcher focused and on track. Users have the flexibility of navigating through e-References page-by-page or to search across the site and manipulate interactive tables, graphs, equations, spreadsheets, and other structured information like spectra.

LEARNING TO USE KNOVEL
For the most part, browsing and searching on Knovel are fairly straightforward and are not unlike using Google, particularly when doing keyword(s) searching. Interactive features often invoke Flash (or Java) application tools that enhance the searching experience that can provide for iterative what-if-scenarios. Knovel offers a variety of online manuals, user guides, feature demos, and on-demand tutorials. From the home page click on Help Center and/or Explore Knovel Features to get you started.
