GIS Workshops at Geisel

A series of GIS (Geographic Information Services) classes will be taught this quarter in the Geisel Library. Topics will include:

  • Begining ArcGIS
  • Georeferencing in ArcGIS
  • Editing in ArcGIS
  • Address matching
  • Google Earth
  • The Geodatabase
  • Working with rasters in ArcGIS
  • Working with census data

    Two of the classes, Beginning ArcGIS and Google Earth, do not require any previous experience with GIS. The others require familiarity with GIS, or to have attended the Beginning ArcGIS class.
