Welcome Week Activities

The Science & Engineering Library is offering a number of tours and classes for Welcome Week, to help you become familiar with our library and the services and resources we provide.

    There’s no signup for these classes, but please contact Susan Shepherd (534-2480) or Teri Vogel (534-1216) if you have any questions:

  • 30-minutes tours of the S&E library, especially helpful since we share the building with another 5+ libraries (10-10:30 M-F, 4-4:30 M-Th)
  • Library Tips for Engineering Students, a hands-on orientation to the online engineering resources (3-4 Tu, 11-noon Wed -**both classes at S&E/Geisel)
  • Library/Info Resources for Chemistry Majors, a hands-on orientation to the online chemistry resources (12-1:30 Wed, 1:30-3 Fri -**both classes at CLICS)

We’re also offering classes throughout the quarter: SciFinder 2006, INSPEC, EndNote, Engineering Resources, and RSS for keeping up with news and research.
