SciFinder Scholar 2006
September 16, 2005 on 11:03 am | In Database News |SciFinder Scholar 2006 for Windows (98/2000/XP/Me/NT4.0) is now available for download off the UCLA site. A version of OS X will be available soon, according to Chemical Abstracts Service (CAS).
I’m working on updating our SFS page, but here are some resources to help you get started with SFS 2006. If you have any questions about downloading or using SFS 2006, please contact e-mail me or call 534-1216.
- Classes - I will be offering two hands-on sessions on SFS 2006 in CLICS: Wed, Oct 5 at 2-3pm, and Thurs, Oct 6 at 10-11am. Students and faculty new to SciFinder Scholar are also welcome to attend. Send an e-mail to scilib@ucsd.edu to register.
- From CAS, a list of new features in SciFinder Scholar 2006.
- SciFinder e-Seminars - Online presentations about SFS 2006, from 7 to 60 minutes long. View previously recorded seminars or sign up for to view and participate in upcoming seminars. You’ll need to download the WebEx software to watch them.
