S&E Presented Best Literature Review Award

The S&E Library presented two awards to graduate students at the Jacobs School of Engineering ResearchExpo on February 25. The awards ($50 gift certificates to the UCSD Bookstore) were given for “excellence in the demonstrated use of the engineering literature in a ResearchExpo poster” to Corey T. Love, from the Materials Science Program, and Farzad Parvaresh, from the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department. Their posters, along with others from the ResearchExpo, will be on display in the S&E Library in March. This is the third year S&E has awarded prizes at the ResearchExpo, an event sponsored by the Jacobs School of Engineering to showcase cutting edge research by faculty and students of the school. 208 posters were displayed this year.
