They are all around us and we cannot avoid them, but toll free numbers can be a great thing to have especially if you are in college like I am and need to be reached at all times. Now let me be clear, toll free numbers are not for those who do not get nor expect to get many phone calls from friends and family near or far away. They are also ideal for persons who own and operate their own business.
In order to come to a final decision about whether or not you should get prepaid toll free numbers there are some things you need to consider.
Benefits of having a toll free number
If you run a business whether large or small a toll free number will be a way for your customers to get in touch with your business and not have to pay for the call. This has a way of making your company seem credible as customers will feel that customer service is important to your business.
It is possible to reserve your toll free number and then have it activated when you want. The rates are usually very good running at about $0.40 per minute which is a good rate for persons who are college students. One feature that will be a hit with us college students is the ability to forward incoming calls to any phone we desire and this also applies to overseas locations. So whether you are in the U.S. or in Jamaica on vacation you can have your call put through to where you are located.
When you get 800 toll free numbers or any of the other prefix numbers such as 888, 887 or 886 it is easy to use and you are well aware as to the costs and you will not be getting any strange bills in your mail.
Another set of benefits with some providers, that you should look for and take advantage of, is no credit check needed, no installation nor long term contracts or penalties if you decide to cancel.
Disadvantages of having a toll free number
If you run a business the main drawback will be those unnecessary calls some customers tend to make. This wastes your staff’s time when they could be dealing with real customer problems.
If you are in college then it will be just about the same problem, unnecessary calls from your friends. This will cost you a bit as most toll free numbers are prepaid.
Finding a provider
You can get toll free numbers from any of the many providers online or through other similar type service providers. Make sure they provide you with the benefits and costs that suit your present needs and situation.

I had an interesting situation today when my best friend asked me for advice about credit cards. She was looking for good credit card offers for her first ever credit card. As a college kid, I recommended that she look into Student Credit Cards for herself. Of course I was far from the best one to advise her on these issues as I myself didn’t know much about own credit card. All I knew was that I had pay the balance monthly to avoid any charges. And that I was charged a small yearly fee for processing and other things.
I did a google search for “Credit Cards” and found a site called Credit Card Flyers which I liked. The interface was clean and easy on the eyes; obviously professionally designed, which gave me a sense of trust. The site was split up into different sections; and what caught my eyes was the section on credit cards sorted by interest. For instance they listed based on “Cash Rebates”, “Sign-up Bonuses”, “ Save on Gasoline” and “Entertainment Rewards” among other things. Another very useful element was sorting the credit card offers by categories, such as Low Interest Credit Cards, Balance Transfer Cards, Instant Approval Cards, Student Credit Cards, Business Credit Cards, Reward Credit Cards, Cash Back Credit Cards, Prepaid Debit Cards, Secured Credit Cards, and Poor credit cards. This saved us a lot of time as my friend was looking for a low interest card, while I was looking for instant approval. Another friend of mine has bad credit, so I referred her to the site as well.
After a while of browsing we ultimately made up our minds. I was going to ditch my old credit card and get a new card called the “Discover More Card” with a 10.99% APR and instant approval with my excellent credit. This was better than my old card and also had a high rating on Credit Card Flyers.
My friend on the other hand with the “Discover Student Card” which had a 16.99 APR, but other features were perfect for her.
Ultimately, I just wanted to everyone to check out Credit Card Flyers; it saved me a lot of time and money by allowing me to compare credit cards.

Personal payday loans are a last resort option when you need money urgently in order to tackle some unexpected monetary circumstance. Most of us budget our spending either in our heads or at the beginning or end of each month, in order to get peace of mind with the state of our finances and to strategically pay off bills and expected expenses. However, when and unexpected situation comes up, it calls for getting some help. The most sever situation is when a large expense comes up, right before you are due for your payday.
I knew a friend who was living in Vegas over last summer, working there and renting while having a good time enjoying the pleasures of the Vegas experience. He got into a car crash right before his payday and was having a lot of trouble paying the car repair bills. In his situation with no other good option, getting a Las Vegas Payday loan was a good idea. After he got his Vegas payday cash advance, he paid of his repair bill and then a few days later he got his paycheck and used it to pay off his las vegas payday advance loan.
Most people in his situation with perfectly good records and finances would find it unreasonable and humiliating to go to someone else for the help the need. Taking a loan may be considered something of an embarrassing situation! However, as his case demonstrates, its is a smart choice as long as you are aware of the pros and cons of a payday loan. The Las Vegas payday advance that he took was from a trusted source and ended up saving him a lot of trouble.

My father’s B’day was a short while back and this year I just had to get him a wine gift set, given his new wine obsession. It started a while back when a Korean friend and Colleague introduced him to some fine Burgundy wines, and since then he’s been hooked.
Having decided on wines as an appropriate gift, I had to figure out what type wine would be best, and a nice Online wine merchant in UK to ship the stuff to my dad (he’s been teaching in the UK since December of last year.)
Doing a little research I ended up choosing a set of fine Bordeaux wines. A Bordeaux wine is one produced in Bordeaux, France. They range from large quantities of everyday table wine, to the most expensive and prestigious wines in the world. The set I got was fairly priced, especially since I don’t have tons of money to throw around.
As for the merchant (after all, this is a site review blog!) I chose Serentawines.com which has a very eye pleasing design, as well as good prices and fine wine selection. They even had Chianti wines & Australian wines which I knew nothing about! Looks like I’ll have to do more research and post back.
Anyway, my father loved the gift, and from the sound of it on the phone, he had consumed most of it upon receipt (perhaps not). But I was overall very satisfied with the experience. And that’s my Site Review for today; the reliable Wine UK Merchant, serentawines.com!

What is document conversion? Document conversion is the conversion of paper and electronic files using computer technologies such as scanning, OCR (optical character recognition), paper to cad conversion to capture or store a file in a particular digital format.
Document scanning converts scanned paper and drawings into raster files. A raster file can be viewed and printed but not edited. Some of the more popular raster formats are TIFF, CALS, PDF, and JPEG. TIFF is the best format for conversion of scanned drawings to CAD. PDF cannot be directly inserted into most CAD and GIS software.
CAD programs display raster (usually scanned) images, and in order to edit the image you will need to digitize or trace the raster image (raster to vector) to create an editable vector file. Drawings can be converted at relatively low costs by firms that employ large format scanning and offshore CAD operators to manually digitize or trace the raster image to perfect CAD format The cad file is dimensionally correct, layered to your specifications, into accurate working drawings.
PDF is the preferred format to archive your paper files. There are three types of PDF formats (1) PDF image only, (2) PDF searchable and (3) PDF normal. The PDF image only is a scanned image of the document that is similar to a fax or photocopy. The PDF searchable image contains text behind the images produced by OCR software for search purposes. PDF normal is an electronic file converted directly from a word processing program and created by using a PDF print driver. PDF normal has a small file size suitable for web distribution.
Optical Character Recognition is an automated process performed by computer software to convert scanned images into an editable Microsoft Word or text file. OCR is best suited for good quality printed pages and is usually highly accurate for manuscripts and text documents.
OCR scanning produces a high rate of errors on poor quality originals, dirty or hand-annotated documents and offshore data entry (key from image) is more cost effective due to the time consuming manual correction required to cleanup the document. Data entry is also more accurate for complicated documents like spreadsheets or lease agreements.

THE TARAHUMARA, refusing to submit to the ordering of church bells and to working like dogs for the Spanish, and realizing the futility of armed confrontation with Spanish soldiers– began a gradual retreat, migrating westward into the rugged mountains and canyons of the Sierra Madre. From the Spanish missions they borrowed whatever would integrate into their ancient corn milpa culture and would facilitate its adaptation to the harsh winters and shallow rocky soils of the Sierra– the iron ax, the ox-drawn plow, goats and sheep, fruit trees, the weaving of wool blankets. And in their new, almost impenetrable isolation , content with the freedom to do as they pleased, and with their fiestas and corn beer, they continued their proud and fiercely independent lifestyle.Today the Tarahumara– a people who take enormous pride in traveling well on foot– still inhabit their maze of canyons, collectively known as the Copper Canyon, several of which are deeper than the Grand Canyon.
TARAHUMARA TREK operates in the region known as the Tarahumara Baja, out of a small Tarahumara village perched in pine-oak forest on the lip of one of these canyons. Base camp is a typical, one-room adobe house, from which numerous day hikes and overnight treks may be taken to other even more remote settlements in the uplands and along the canyon rim– as well as down into the tropical ecosystem of the canyon bottom, a world of thorn forest and saguaro cacti, in places spotted with plantings of mango, papaya, guayaba, and orange trees.
