Biomedical Library/Graduate Study Holiday Closure

Due to the campus closure, the Biomedical Library, Graduate Study, and breezeway will be closed from 6:00 PM Saturday, December 23rd through 8:00 AM Wednesday, January 3rd.

Roger will be down Dec 20, 6-10am

The Roger library catalog will be down for some maintenance work on Wednesday, December 20th, from 6-10 am. If you need to search for books and journals in our libraries during that time, we recommend trying the Circuit catalog, which includes UCSD, SDSU, USD and CSU-San Marcos libraries’ collections. Functions relating to your own record, renewing items etc. will not be available until Roger is back online.

New Image Source: BioMed Search

BioMed Search (http://www.biomed-search.com/) is a new search service that includes over one million images that have appeared in scholarly biomedical journals. It indexes the image captions and presents a result list with images, captions and citations. This new service is still to be considered “beta” and there are no advanced searching features. When using this resource, remember images are part of the copyrighted content of these articles.

Annex Holiday Schedule

The Annex will have a Monday-Friday delivery schedule for the last two weeks before the campus closure. Details are:

One delivery per day Mon-Fri, Dec 11-15 - no Saturday delivery
One delivery per day Mon-Fri, Dec 18-22 - no Saturday delivery
No Annex deliveries Dec 23-Jan 2

The Annex will return to the regular Mon-Sat schedule
on Wednesday, Jan 3.
